Yes, yes I know it's been over a month since I posted last.. Sometimes things in life get a little crazy and we've gotta put things back into priority. So this past month I decided to do just that. =) Ty and I went on a Mini-Retreat to Orlando for a week and had a great relaxing time just doing NOTHING... which I haven't done in a loonnngg time. I've also been choreographing an awesome Easter production with Ty for this Easter @ our church which is going to be uhh-may-zing!!! On top of all of that, I've really been searching myself as a photographer. I want to know where my niche is, who I am, and who I want to be as a photographer. With each shoot I find myself becoming more and more comfortable behind the camera, and I can feel an increase in creativity with each shoot that I do! I feel like I'm becoming developed as a photographer (yes, pun intended)..
Despite all of my resting-ness, I still had some awesome shoots and I wanted to share with you a few from each shoot! Take a peek and enjoy!
Aside from being a photographer, my husband and I are Youth Pastors at our church. We have some of the most amazing girls in our youth group. They are each unique in their own little ways, but one thing they all have in common is that they love God with their whole hearts and live for Him with every breath. It's so refreshing to be around them and know they are sincere about their faith. We got together a couple weeks ago for a fun Girls Night, which included a great photoshoot! Here's a cute headshot for each of them (and me!):

I also had the honor of shooting an event that was really close to my heart. Last year through a very scary series of events my mom was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome about 8 months ago through a very scary and sudden turn of events.. She fought for her life and has spent this last year recuperating and growing stronger every day.
So this past Saturday we had an event to support her through this process and help with her medical bills.. There was lots of great food, each room was a different "country" and served so many great little appetizers, and there was also a fun silent auction.. So much money was raised and we were so blessed at how many people came out to support my mom's cause!

I also shot one of the photoshoots I gave away back in January. Chrisy has been a friend of my family for years, and I was so excited for this shoot because it was of her beautiful (and blonde!) little girl Isabella. Chrisy knew me when I was her oldest daughter Madison's age.. We had lots of fun chasing "Isy" around and I snagged some great shots of her! Here's a few:
Love this one! =)
And lastly, Kali & Brandon are engaged!! =) They're getting married in September!
Whew, so there you have it! I'm all caught up! =) As I said before, email me for more info about how you can host your own "Girl's Night" with you and your girlfriends including a hot photoshoot! At $30.00 per girl, it's not too expensive and lots of fun!!! You'll be the ultimate hostess! Email me now for more info @ daniellejanephotography@yahoo.com
